~ I am starting to see that it's the plaid that makes men in kilts a little silly (though cute).
Utilitikilts are thus dangerous.

~ As far as I can tell, my age-appearance doesn't work against me when I'm putting out Con fires. Except for with A Certain Person, but there's always some Certain Person.

I view my Etsy favorites as a bit of a wunderkammer mixed with supply closet.

I keep things I mean to buy for my fiber stash there, but also yarns I would never know to use, because they're fandom yarns I like, clothes I could never buy but adore, and pictures that illustrate a real eye for beauty.

In the vein of random thoughts,
at Tokyo in Tulsa, I saw a guy in a very striking costume--he looked great. I can't tell you if he was particularly good looking because his make-up was INTENSE. But he carried off the intensity very well.

But it started me thinking...though I'm not photogenic, I think I would make a pretty good costuming doll.
